This wide shot shows the location of the scene and it shows that its in a dark setting at night. It also shows how large the ocean is compared to the character. witch shows the audience that the ocean is so large that it could contain loads of what we don't know and makes us wonder what could be under the surface.

This point of view shot shows the view of what the shark would be seeing. The effect of this shot is that the audience will start to feel tension as the shark moves closer to the character as they now know what is under the surface and what could possibly go wrong.

In this wide shot again is used to show the audience how big the ocean is compared to the character, it also shows us the buoy in the distance witch she later uses to try and save herself.

This media close up shot is effective because it shows that the character is clearly struggling and also shows the buoy again in the background. It also shows how aggressively the shark was attacking her with how much movement there is within the shot.

This wide shot shows how calm the surroundings around this character are compared to the other character. this shows the character is lying peacefully on the sand and the ocean is calm and how nice the sunset is in the background.

This close up shot is effective because it shows the calmness before the shark continues to attack the character and it makes the audience feel a sense of short lived safety as the sunset in the background looks peaceful and the water looks calm.

This close up is effective because it shows that she is about to be dragged under by the shark and the water around her can be seen that she is moving alot and she is stressed. it also adds alot of tension to the audience as they can see there isnt much hope for her.
