Bank Robber Scenario - The interview

For this task we were put into groups and had to decide one out of three scenarios to create a script for and base a scenario on. We had to complete pre production documents to decide who was doing what and plan out or storyline when planning out the storyline we came across a few issues of what we wanted to create as we struggled for ideas at first and how we wanted to put across the scenario, as a group we managed to come up with a good idea of what we wanted the storyline to follow. We created a shot list describing what shots we are going to use in the production. We also created story boards to plan out what the shots may look like by creating a rough draft of the scenes. We also made risk assessments to plan out any possible hazards so we can avoid them but have a plan of what to do if the hazard occurs. We also created a location recce to map out where we are to film our scenes.

During pre production we decided our roles, I took the role of being the camera operator and filming the footage. During filming we worked well as a group and made sure everyone was working well and happy with their roles.

After filming was finished I felt as I did do a good job with most of the scenes but some scenes were a little bit blurry or a bit shaky so for next time I will ensure that the shot looks clean on the camera before moving on. We used premire pro to edit the scenes together to create the story line so it all made sense and added in text and background sounds to add to the effect of the scenes.

Overall I think it went well but there was things that couldve been improved like the shots that came out a bit blurry. The film was also ment to be 5 minutes long and the final edit was around 2 minutes so for next time I think we need to plan out the script to be longer by doing a run through to see how long the script may roughly last to see if theres anything that can be added.
