180 degree rule

For this task we were put into groups to act out a scenario using the 180 degree rule. The 180 degree rule means that the camera shoots from a 180 degree curve and follows around the curve to create footage that makes sense to the audience. In our scenario we had to choose 2 people to act out the scenario and one person to film the scenario. we chose our roles by doing what made us feel most comfortable. As a team we communicated well and made sure that we liked our footage and that we were doing everything correctly. To prepare we set up our camera on a tripod so we could get steady shots and we created a story board to plan out the types of shots we wanted to use in our scenario and so we could plan out the dialogue and what character is saying what. After we filmed our scenario we used premier pro to edit the footage together and make it so everything was in the correct order and the dialogue made sense and was understandable to the audience. Then we uploaded our videos to YouTube.
