A) what problems did you encounter creating your prezi interactive museum presentations, including videos and graphics? how did you solve them?

In the creating of the prezi I came across a few issues when creating the video for the prezi, I had to decide what different types of lighting I wanted to include in the video. As there was limited sources I had to work with and what was avalible for me to use. When filming the video I had to pick a small amount of different types of lighting so I chose the ones that would be best to recreate.

I managed to find a LED light which I could also put a blue filter over. This was helpful as I could use the different light settings on the light to create different types of lighting like soft lighting and hard lighting and high key etc, then using the blue filter I could create mood lighting so I managed to work around the limited sources to create enough examples to make my video watchable and so it had a good amount of examples to present. I also found it hard to find some fifferent locations to use as we had to shoot within the college but I managed to find some good locations around college to show other examples of lighting for example classrooms and the use of the field were good places to show natural lighting.

When editing the video I had to create an after effect for the start and end of the video so I could introduce what I was going to be presenting using a motion graphic that I created. I struggled a little bit when learning how to create the after effect as I was confused on how to use the software, so I had some issues when it came to actualy creating the graphic. I solved this by finding a youtube video that could walk me through how to make a simple after effect step by step which helped me develop my final edit for the video and taught me how to create a easy motion graphic.

I also stuggled when editing the video as it was very short to begin with because of how limited sources I had to use so I didnt have many types of lighting to add together. So I added in text between shots and between different examples of lighting to introduce and to add a few seconds into the video and keeping within context.

I also had a few issues when creating the prezi itself as I had never used it before, I found it a bit hard to understand how to add circles and text etc. After figuring it out I managed to create a good interative circle for my topic of lighting. To make my prezi more intresting I also included a google quiz that I created myself and also linked a lighting example to a short film.

Overall I think I managed to overcome the issues and complications well and could tackle them myself by finding soloutions and finding sources out of what was avaliable to use and teching myself how to use sommething I hadnt used before.

A) how effective is your prezi interactive museum presentation in (entertaining, educating and informing?)

In my prezi I think it has a good amount of information and can keep someone intreseted and engaged when looking through my circle. In my prezi I included a quiz in one of my offshoots so people can test what they learn after watching through the video, so they can stay engaged and can see how well they retain the information. I also Included a description on what lighting is and how effective it is to a production so when reading through my prezi you continue to find out more information the deeper you look and can get more educated in lighting and how effective it actually is.

To keep the prezi effective and in context I also included another offshot that contained a relation of a specifc type of lighting to a media example by linking natural lighting to a short film so that when someone is reading through my circle in the prezi they can continue to find out new information as they look through. This will help educate and inform them on how effective ligting can be in real examples. I think this is entertaining as then when someone is watching a production they will notice how effective lighting is in different scenes and will notice it more than before. Overall I think that my prezi has a good amount of entertainment and gives across alot of information that can educate someone that may be completly new into learning about lighting and film.
