piktochart:

On piktochart you can choose from multiple different types of templates that had a wide range of different elements, for infographics it offers loads of different examples that are free to edit and you can even create your own. piktochart is very easy to understand and has loads of elements that help to create your design.

When using piktochart it is very simple to use and is very understandable. when just looking at the edit page, everything is set out very simply and accessible on the side of the screen so its quick to change things and add new elements into the design. On the edit page there is a wide variety of colours to choose from to create a colourful infographic, there is also multiple different shapes and fonts to help create a unique design. you can also insert charts and design components for more data based projects.

Piktochart also offers a large amount of different icons that you can include in the design, but you have to upgrade your package for quite a few of them.

piktochart also includes 3d images and animations to include in your designs which i felt was quite a cool addition to the software as it creates more variation on what you can use to make the infographic or design a bit more fun to look at.
The examples and templates that they give you are very useful and there are loads to pick from one of my favorites is:

I liked this design because the use of the clipboard made it more fun to look at and the way that it is laid out makes it easy to understand and flows nicely, I also like the colour pallet that's used as it includes a few different colours that are fun to look at and is visually aesthetic.
infogram

On infogram there is loads of different styles and options to pick from when deciding what to create, on the infographic templates there are a lots options to pick from if you don't want to create your own. Infogram is fairly easy to use and has a similar layout to piktochart when it comes to the editing screen.

when using the editing software it's easy to navigate where everything is on the editing page. All of the elements you can add to the design are placed along to side as well as piktochart and has multiple different choices of colours and fonts, charts etc. on infogram you can aslo insert places and maps using the location icon, the only issue with this is that only the world map and united states is available, if you want other countries on their own you have to pay and upgrade your package.
when using infogram you have to have all of your designs public otherwise you have to pay and upgrade to keep them private, I feel as infogram is quite limited when it comes to using different elements of the software as a lot of it you have to upgrade and pay for.
The examples and templates that they give you are very useful and there are loads to pick from one of my favorites is:

I really liked the idea of this design of the use of a notice board to display different data, i felt like the colours were a bit on the boring side and could use a different colour pallet to make it a bit more exciting to look at. I really liked the use of the different shapes of paper and how they are planned out across the infographic.
canva

Canva has a range of templates to pick from when creating an infographic and can be a good starting point if you can't think of any ideas for your own designs. canva is very easy to use and has a similar editing layout to both piktochart and infogram. Canva offers loads of photos and GIFs and stock videos and even background music, it has a wide variety of design elements, most of these are free, some are for Pro accounts and some you have to pay for.

when using canvas editing page everything is very accessible and can be navigated around easily. Again the elements are all on the side of the screen for quick access when editing your design you can include loads of different things that are free to use like graphs, tables, small drawings and images etc.

Canva has a load of different colours to offer when using things like the drawing tool and text tools etc to create a visually pleasing look to the design. It also has sticker packs that include loads of different graphics associated with one topic and designs.
The examples and templates that they give you are very useful and there are loads to pick from one of my favorites is:

I really loved everything about this design, I really like the layout and how you can include images in the circles, I also felt that the colours are just very visually pleasing to look out and work well together. I think it's a very fun design and it's interesting to look out and easy to read and understand the infographic.
Overall I think I like canva the best as I have used it before so I understand how to use the software and I think its easier to use and has more elements available to use, the other two software's are good but I just prefer canva. I also feel as canva has nicer starter templates for if your stuck for ideas and there more aesthetically pleasing. I feel if I had to pick a second it would be piktochart as I feel its the second easiest to use but more features need to be purchased to use it effectively.
