Point of view shot

A point of view shot is placed to act as the eyes of the subject and gives the audience the view of what the subject is seeing.


Dutch tilt

When the camera is not placed parallel to the ground put is placed at an angle.



Wide shot

A wide shot shows the whole environment and the whole of a subject.


Extreme wide shot

An extreme wide shot shows huge objects or large locations normally used to show cities and forests etc.


close up

An close up is normally used to show a small or specific part of an object.


high angle shot

when the camera is looking down on the subject
